Abstract
Se describe un dispositivo de estiramiento inteligente portatil (10) para el uso en pacientes que sufren de articulaciones y miembros espasticos y con contractura. El dispositivo tiene un motor (20) y arbol motor (40) para girar la articulacion o miembro. La velocidad y distancia de estiramiento variables del dispositivo se determinan por medio de un sensor de torsion en la articulacion o miembro, el cual comunica la informacion a un controlador (130) que posteriormente instruye al motor en cuanto a la distancia de estiramiento y velocidad variables.
