Abstract
Los dispositivos de inyeccion se conocen para la auto-administracion de medicamento por los pacientes, en el cual el medicamento esta contenido tipicamente dentro de un cartucho localizado dentro del dispositivo de inyeccion. Es un problema el que los dispositivos de inyeccion sean lo suficientemente pequenos para ajustarse en el bolsillo de un saco o una bolsa de mano sin dificultad. Tambien, el dispositivo de inyeccion debe ser de un tamano que permita que un piston o similar se use para impulsar el tapon del cartucho dentro del cartucho a moverse, tanto a una posicion de dosificacion maxima dentro del cartucho como a retirarse completamente del cartucho para permitir el reemplazo del cartucho. Se describe un mecanismo de impulso para un dispositivo de inyeccion, en el cual un piston 42 comprende una primera parte de piston 44 guiada para el movimiento lineal para impulsar selectivamente un tapon 18 y una segunda parte de piston 46 conectada para un movimiento pivotal con respecto a la primera parte del piston 44.
