Abstract

Un sistema y un metodo para filtrar diversos objetivos (como vehiculos en tierra, objetos estacionarios y aeronaves) que aparecen en pantalla dentro de la cabina de mando de una aeronave "propia"; el sistema y el metodo evita mostrar en pantalla cualesquiera objetivos no exentos que tengan una altura que sea: (1) mayor que un umbral de altura superior; o (2) menor que un umbral de altura inferior; se puede fijar al umbral de altura superior y el umbral de altura inferior con valores ajustables especificados por el usuario segun se desee para adaptarse a las condiciones actuales de vuelo; adicionalmente, tambien se puede configurar el sistema y el metodo para que opere en una serie de modos de operacion, cada uno de los cuales esta caracterizado por una combinacion de distintos umbrales de altura superior/inferior; preferentemente el sistema y el metodo se configuran para reestablecer ciertos umbrales de altura predefinidas por omision en respuesta al aterrizaje de la aeronave.
