Abstract

Un circuito de control para una secadora de ropa que opera con un suministro de energia de 120 voltios y que compensa los cambios en la temperatura ambiental para compensar el avance prematuro del motor del marcador de tiempo de la secadora durante el ciclo de secado automatico. El circuito de control tiene un termostato de salida baja impulsado termicamente y un termostato de salida alta impulsado termicamente, los cuales controlan la energizacion de un calentador de la secadora. Cada uno del termostato de salida baja y el termostato de salida alta abren el circuito a las respectivas temperaturas predeterminadas alta y baja cuando el flujo de aire de salida del tambor de la secadora alcanza las temperaturas predeterminadas alta y baja respectivas para asi des-energizar el calentador y el avance del motor del marcador de tiempo. El circuito de control incluye un termostato ambiental impulsado termicamente que normalmente se abre y no esta impulsado, y que conmuta el control de la energizacion del calentador desde el termostato de salida baja al termostato de salida alta cuando se impulsa termicamente y cuando la temperatura ambiente se eleva sobre la temperatura ambiente predeterminada. El termostato ambiental se impulsa termicamente cuando el termostato de salida baja tiene el circuito abierto. Ambos termostatos de salida baja y alta estan normalmente impulsados termicamente durante el ciclo de secado automatico y no estan impulsados durante el ciclo de tiempo seleccionado por el usuario para que los termostatos de temperatura alta y baja funcionen en ciclos de encendido y apagado a temperaturas mas altas de lo que lo harian durante el ciclo de secado automatico.
