Abstract

Una red de comunicacion de tres cables que termina en cuatro sitios de desembarque separados sobre dos grandes masas de tierra firme separadas (A, B), el metodo llevando cuatro grados de trafico (1-4), con el grado mas bajo de trafico siendo asegurado despues de la falla. Elementos de conmutacion que terminan los cables en cada sitio de desembarque y un logico de conmutacion a traves del cual los diversos grados de trafico son dirigidos en respuesta a escenarios de falla. Un metodo para instalar la red de comunicacion de tres cables que incluye los pasos de tender un primer cable de anchura de banda X (401) entre un sitio de desembarque (422, 425) en cada masa grande de tierra (A, B), despues tender un segundo cable de anchura de banda X (402) entre otros sitios de desembarque (424, 427) sobre cada masa grande de tierra (A, B). Un tercer cable unido de por lo menos una anchura de banda 2X (404, 403, 406 y 405, 403, 407) teniendo cuatro extremos (422, 424, 425, 427) despues es tendido entre los sitios sobre las dos masas grandes de tierra con un extremo conectandose a cada sitio de desembarque y conectando por lo menos la anchura de banda X a cada sitio de desembarque.
