Abstract

Esto encuentra ejemplificacion en un metodo para procesamiento de cheques automatizado y en un sistema de clasificacion de cheques en el cual la linea MICR del cheque que ha sido leida e interpretada como invalida se puede analizar digitalmente (66), mediante una imagen digital (56) del cheque, para identificar los caracteres MICR que pudieran haber sido leidos o interpretados como no validos por el equipo de procesamiento MICR convencional. Esto incluye aplicar digitalmente el procesamiento de reconocimiento de caracteres a una linea MICR invalidada en una imagen digital de un articulo bancario (por ejemplo un cheque).
