Abstract
Se describe un sistema y metodo de enfriamiento para uso en plantas industriales. Una corriente de fluido caliente se enfria primero en una etapa enfriada por aire a una temperatura intermedia, y despues a una temperatura final en una etapa enfriada por agua. El metodo de enfriamiento de dos etapas, que tiene ventajas sobre el enfriamiento por aire o el enfriamiento por agua solo, esta bien adecuado para aplicaciones o ubicaciones en donde el uso del agua se restringe debido a preocupaciones economicas o ambientales.
