The invention consists in a porous ceramic body that can be used as an air diffuser system in aerobic reactors for the treatment of residual waters, as well as floating processes and particles separation. This ceramic body allows air supply by means of the generation of bubbles of less than 2.5mm of diameter, under air throughputs of 1 to 3 1/min, provoking a slow rise of air and a controlled turbulence level; when modifying the chemical composition of the ceramic material the size and number of pores changes so that it can be done the necessary adjustments to obtain the required size of bubbles and fluid regimen.
