Description
IMPROVED TUMBONA
OBJECT OF THE INVENTION
The object of the present patent application is an improved lounger, of the type specially designed for use in the beach, field, gardens, swimming pools and the like, which contributes to the function that is intended, several advantages that will be consigned later, apart from other inherent in its organization and constitution.
BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
At present and as a reference to the state of the art, it should be mentioned that deckchairs of the type reviewed are known, constituted by a frame comprising two fundamental parts, one of them fixed, which integrates the feet and the bed, and another mobile part and associated with the previous one, which forms a adjustable backrest with positioner on each side. At present, the means that provide the optional graduation of the inclination of the backrest to a flat angle are generally constituted by an articulated bridge, provided on its sides with a series of teeth that establish a series of anchors on a crosspiece.
DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION The improved lounger, object of the present invention, is constituted by a monobloc chassis, a backrest and a adjustable support frame of the backrest articulating therewith, facilitating successive inclinations of said backrest until it is fully collapsed. The lounger to form its bed, has in its front and rear crossbeams elongated openings to fix the ends of a plastic tarpaulin, thermosolded and breathable, provided with holes or perimetral eyelets, which together with some holes that surround the lounger, allow the fixation of the canvas by means of a zig-zag cord, with a row of holes provided for the alternative assembly of slats which are also fixed transversely by tongue and groove means, alternately replacing the canvas. The chassis is flat and rounded edges, rounded the inside edges of the supports (feet of the lounger), to prevent when the chairs are stacked, if accidentally the support of the unit to be placed on a higher level , rubs the fabric of the lounger that will be on the lower level, it does not suffer any damage, while the lounger has stacking tops also rounded, with the particularity that from the same mold you can get three alternatives of different realization of a lounger by means of respective changes in the central part of the mold, allowing its stacking, and presents V-shaped supports with truncated vertices, which avoid the rolling of the lounger as much as possible, and which according to the alternative of realization will be in number of six or of four, establishing in this last case a version with armrests or with lateral reinforcements. Likewise, some removable wheels for the transfer of the deckchair have been provided in extreme supports, as well as replaceable non-slip supports that can be installed in all the supports, and that in one embodiment can be tilted transversely, to achieve a maximum support surface in all supports. The design of the chassis is such that two or more loungers can be stacked, so that the lower part of the chassis of the upper lounger rests on the chassis part of the lower lounger where the central legs are joined, and not on the canvas . As for the backrest and the adjustable support frame, they are characterized in that the backrest is joined by its lower ends to the chassis by means of respective cams that allow its rotation, while said backrest articulates through its intermediate rear part with the upper ends of the frame. support, which presents at the end of its sides and in an intermediate area of these projections suitable to fit alternately in successive recesses of the sides of the chassis, facilitating successive positions of the backrest until its total abatement, with the particularity that for the latter position a gap is established between the backrest and the chassis, which prevents finger pinching. The front crosspieces of the chassis and the backrest have a conjugate anchorage type clip, which prevents the accidental lifting of the backrest when a force is exerted on the canvas.
In addition, in the anterior or posterior part of the chassis, an electronic chip, or other related device, is incorporated for the rental and total control of the lounger. Finally, it is noteworthy that any of the alternatives for realizing the lounger can incorporate a poop, as a parasol, in the backrest of the same. To complement the description that will be made next and in order to help a better understanding of its characteristics, the present description is accompanied by a set of plans in whose figures, in an illustrative and non-limiting manner, the details are represented most significant of the invention.
