Abstract

The present invention refers to a system of cathodic protection based upon stamped current in which the anodes which are the diffusers of the system positive current, are modified in their traditional and conventional structure, by means of a monolithic electro-conductive material and a series of internal arrangements that produce a reduction effect of the electric resistance with the current passage in an anodic device, decreasing the power requirements and producing a relevant saving of electric energy as well as an increment in the useful life of this type of anodes. The configuration of this new anode does not change or alter the intrinsic electrochemical phenomenon of cathodic protection; it is chiefly based in the use of conventional and commercial anodes such as core-anodes (4) and the prepackaging in a mixture of chemical compounds (2) that by means of water addition form a monolithic anode of larger volume and weight which can operate both in a vertical and horizontal positio n and can be employed in sandy grounds, as well as swampy, marine and lacustrian areas.
