Abstract

Se da a conocer un revestimiento en polvo de epoxi, curado con diciandiamida, con recubrimiento claro, para substratos no metalicos, en que el revestimiento acabado esta visualmente exento de empanamiento, como resultado de la adicion de una cantidad pequena de un compuesto de urea substituida aromatica. Los substratos no metalicos, tal como el laton, no pueden soportar temperaturas extremadamente altas, que se requieren para curar los revestimientos en polvo, bien conocidos. Sin embargo, los sistemas de revestimientos que curan a temperaturas menores, a menudo producen un empanamiento dentro del revestimiento claro acabado. La presente invencion resuelve este problema.
