The present invention refers to a process of demetallization of holographic plastic films which consists in the removal of metal deposits adhered to a holographic plastic film by means of the exposure of this plastic film to determined chemical solutions The process is based in the method of fiexographic printing that uses rubber engravings to cover the printing rolls that will transfer the chemical substances in substitution of normal inks toward the holographic plastic film.
