Abstract

Se describen el 7-[1-(4-Clorofenoxi)etil]-1,2,4-triazol[1,5-a]pirimidin-5-ol aislado y sales farmaceuticamente aceptables del mismo, en la forma de enantiomeros individuales y mezclas de los mismos, incluyendo la mezcla racemica, formulaciones farmaceuticas que contienen este compuesto, y el uso de este compuesto en el tratamiento de ataques apopleticos, desordenes neurologicos tales como epilepsia, y/o condiciones en las que haya dano neurologico tales como ataque cerebral, trauma cerebral, lesiones en la cabeza y hemorragia.
