Abstract

La invencion se relaciona con un procedimiento para la preparacion de diisobutileno (DIB), a partir de un refinado I de C4 que contiene i-buteno, en donde la corriente de C4 se pasa a traves de un primer reactor de hidroisomerizacion (A) y de una columna de fraccionamiento (B) y, de este modo, se libera en gran medida de 1-buteno y 2-buteno. A continuacion se dimeriza sobre un catalizador acido instalado en una columna reactiva (E). La corriente de alimentacion a esta columna reactiva contiene no solo i-buteno sino tambien butanos, lo cual hace que la temperatura de reaccion en el lecho fijo pueda ser controlada mediante la disipacion del calor de reaccion. En la columna de fraccionamiento (B), se puede someter una corriente lateral a otra hidroisomerizacion en un reactor (C).
