Abstract
Un metodo para probar una obturacion de valvula de cierre empotrando una muestra de material de prueba a la cara de una tira; se promedia incluso la energia calorifica colocando la muestra de material de prueba en la seccion media de la tira; durante la aplicacion del adhesivo de union todas las superficies aplicables tienen el mismo adhesivo aplicado durante el mismo marco de tiempo en el mismo medio ambiente (excepto bajo la oreja de la muestra de material de prueba que se evitara que se adhiera mecanica o quimicamente); el elastomero preparado para la ranura de obturacion es identico y se prepara en el mismo lote que para la muestra de material de prueba y todo es instalado con el mismo agente de pegajosidad por el mismo individuo; la seccion transversal de la obturacion es la misma que la seccion de prueba de la muestra de material de prueba de obturacion; se completa en seguida la cura posterior igualmente sobre la obturacion y la muestra de material de prueba; despues de que ocurre el enfriamiento, la oreja de prueba de la muestra de material de prueba (que se evita que se adhiera antes mecanica o quimicamente) se libera y se coloca en un aditamento de oreja de traccion y se aplica una carga conocida variable; se monitorea el alargamiento y se puede generar una curva de esfuerzo/deformacion, verificando las propiedades de material; se puede probar despues en cuanto a fragua de compresion la oreja de prueba removida y se puede realizar una variedad de otras pruebas; se pueden generar certificaciones de material y funcionamiento para cada obturacion de tira.
