Abstract
Una composicion que comprende una partícula para la proteccion de cultivos, solida, mononucleada, revestida con un material de revestimiento insoluble en agua, tiene un diámetro en la gama de 0.5 a 50 æ. Esta composicion se hace mediante un proceso que da por resultado la no aglomeracion sustancial de las partículas revestidas. En una modalidad partícula, una composicion para la proteccion de cultivos comprende una partícula para la proteccion de cultivos, solida, mononucleada, revestida con ya sea colofonia de madera, derivados de colofonia, ceras, derivados grasos, esteroles, ésteres de esterol de cadena larga y azufre. De manera alternativa, el material de revestimiento puede ser un polímero de látex sintético, insoluble en agua. La composicion se puede utilizar en una mezcla que también incluye un asociado químico para la proteccion de cultivos que comprende una partícula solida. El asociado ordinariamente degrada la partícula para la proteccion de cultivos, solida cuando se almacena o envejece conjuntamente como una mezcla de partículas solidas. Sin embargo, cuando la partícula solida de la composicion se reviste, se impide ésta degradacion.
