Abstract
La invencion concierne a un procedimiento para la valorizacion de desechos constituidos por chapas recubiertas, sobre al menos una superficie, por una capa de zinc, donde el procedimiento consiste en someter los desechos a las etapas sucesivas siguientes: a) una primera etapa, llamada de tratamiento mecánico de los desechos, destinada a mejorar la accesibilidad de las capas de zinc a un ataque químico posterior, incrementando la superficie de ataque accesible de las partes que forman las capas de zinc, realizando, por un lado, la separacion de las chapas unas de las otras, por medio del arrugamiento de los desechos y, por otro lado, creando fisuras en las capas de zinc. Esta etapa se realiza ventajosamente en un triturador desmenuzador; b) una segunda etapa, llamada de ataque químico, destinada a disolver el zinc, por inmersion de los desechos en un baño básico; c una tercera etapa de separacion de las chapas libres de zinc y del baño de ataque químico que tiene disuelto el zinc. El zinc disuelto es enseguida recuperado por electrolisis. La invencion concierne, muy particularmente, a la utilizacion del procedimiento descrito para la recuperacion y la valorizacion de los recortes nuevos, de las chapas galvanizadas, en la industria automotriz.
