Abstract

Se ha desarrollado un modelo a nivel de poro sencillo para difusion y relajacion de resonancia magnética nuclear de las mezclas de aceite-agua en poros humedecidos con agua. Además de prestar discernimiento físico hacia el comportamiento del tiempo de relajacion de los fluidos de poro mezclados, el modelo puede usarse para generar una herramienta práctica para interpretar el dato de registro de difusion, es decir, un trazo transversal de T2 versus D. Los puntos de localizacion en el trazo transversal rinden simultáneamente la saturacion del agua del sondeo cercano y el tamaño del poro de la roca. para aceites o petroleos ligeros T2 se muestra como siendo principalmente un indicador del tamaño del poro, mientras que D se controla principalmente mediante Sw. La "resolucion" del tamaño del poro disminuye a medida que disminuye la viscosidad del aceite o petroleo y/o de Sw. Una verificacion preliminar del modelo se ha hecho con los datos del nucleo limitados y los resultados de aplicar el modelo para interpretar el dato de registro de Resonancia Magnética Nuclear son alentadoras. La capacidad para separar los efectos del tamaño del poro de la saturacion del fluido en respuesta a la Resonancia Magnética Nuclear de los fluidos de poro indican una ventaja potencial importante de la combinacion de medicion de T2 y D en relacion el registro de T2 normal para caracterizar el tamaño de poro de la formacion y las propiedades de flujo del deposito relacionadas.
