Abstract

De manera similar un método de control de predistorsion adaptable para la modulacion externa optica incluye las etapas de generar una señal de control de predistorsion; modular una señal optica que usa la señal de control de predistorsion; transmitir la señal optica modulada; recibir la señal optica modulada; filtrar la señal optica modulada para obtener un primer componente de distorsion; generar un segundo componente de distorsion que usa la señal de control de predistorsion; desmodular sincronicamente un producto del primer y segundo componentes de distorsion para obtener una señal de correccion de segundo orden y una señal de correccion de tercer orden; integrar la señal de correccion de segundo orden para generar una señal de control de desviacion de modulador; e integrar la señal de correccion de tercer orden para controlar los parámetros del predistorsionador, modificando de esta manera la señal de control de desviacion del modulador para reducir la distorsion de la señal optica modulada.
