Abstract
Se proporciona el aparato para reducir la presion en un espacio vacío del tanque de químicos orgánicos volátiles (VOC) (11) mientras se minimizan las emisiones de vapores de VOC hacia la atmosfera. El aparato comprende un modulo de separacion (44) que tiene una entrada (48) para recibir los vapores provenientes del tanque, una salida (42) conectada al tubo de ventilacion (21) para el agotado/retenido y una salida (46) para el infiltrado separado de la entrada (48) y la salida (42) mediante una membrana (18) permeable a los VOC's. Una bomba (19) retira los VOC's a través de la membrana mientras un extractor de vapor (17) hace que el vapor proveniente del espacio vacío (11) fluya a través de la membrana (18). El flujo de vapor a través de la membrana se controla mediante el controlador (45) dependiendo, al menos en parte, de la presion detectada en el tanque subterráneo mediante el detector (23), y la concentracion de VOC's en el tubo de ventilacion (21) detectada por el detector de VOC (24). El flujo de vapor se controla de tal manera que actue para minimizar las emisiones al maximizar el tiempo de residencia en proximidad a la membrana (18).
