Abstract
Se describe en esta invencion un material activo para un cátodo de una celda de níquel que tiene la formula Ni1-2xM2x (OH)2(CO3)x (0<x<-0.1), en donde M es un metal trivalente, el diámetro promedio del material activo es de 2~30æm, la anchura media del pico XRD en su plano (001) es mayor que 1.0??/20, su densidad acometida es mayor que 1.6 g/cmü, su área de superficie específica es de 5~50m²/g y su forma es globular.
