Abstract

Un aparato de enfriamiento concentrado que consta de un enfriador, o dispersor térmico, una capa sobre la cual se dispone una capa de material comprimible térmicamente aislante. La capa de material comprimible térmicamente aislante tiene una superficie para que en la misma se apoye una porcion del cuerpo de un ser humano (o de un animal). La capa de material comprimible térmicamente aislante reacciona a la presion que se ejerce contra la superficie oponiendo una resistencia térmica entre la superficie y la capa de enfriamiento, misma que varia en proporcion inversa a la presion ejercida. Se proporcionan medios para mantener la capa de enfriamiento a una temperatura predeterminada por debajo de la temperatura normal del cuerpo humano.
