Abstract

La presente invencion se refiere a un sensor de fluorescencia para percibir un analito que comprende: medio fotodetector para generar una señal eléctrica como resultado de ser expuesto a luz incidente; medio indicador para proveer una emision fluorescente como resultado de luz de excitacion, dicho medio indicador que comprende un material que permite a dicho analito propagarse en el mismo y que tiene moléculas indicadoras de emision de luz específicas para dicho analito para provocar que dichas moléculas indicadoras interactuen con dicho analito para alterar la cantidad de luz incidente sobre dicho medio fotodetector de la luz emitida de dichas moléculas indicadoras; medio emisor de luz para emitir luz de excitacion que tiene por lo menos una porcion ubicada dentro de dicho medio indicador; dicho medio fotodetector que tiene un eje primario de deteccion de luz y dicho medio emisor de luz que tiene un eje primario de emision de luz, dicho medio fotodetector y dicho medio emisor de luz estando ubicados para provocar que el eje primario de emision de luz de dicho medio emisor de luz esté substancialmente perpendicular al eje primario de deteccion de luz de dicho medio fotodetector; dicho medio fotodetector, dicho medio indicador y dicho medio emisor de luz estando ubicados en una estructura unitaria.
