Abstract

Se propone un panel de circuitos para colocarse dentro de una ranura de tarjeta de una computadora personal que permite a la computadora personal recibir informacion directamente desde una red comunicacion por satélite. la tarjeta adaptadora opera en un modo secundario a un CPU de la computadora personal. El CPU recibe señales demoduladas provenientes de un demodulador de la tarjeta adaptadora a través de una interfase de canal en la tarjeta adaptadora. El CPU también recibe informacion de estado para el demodulador y para un sintonizador y controla la operacion del demodulador y del sintonizados a través de la interfase de canal. Un convertidor DC-DC recibe energía proveniente de un suministro de energía para la circuitería de la tarjeta adaptadora. Además el convertidor DC-DC energiza un bloque de nivel bajo de ruido (LNB de una antena de la red de comunicacion por satélite).
