Abstract

Las características del canal de radio se usan para establecer secuencias de clave para usarse para encriptar la informacion comunicada. Comparado con los sistemas clásicos y de clave publicos, se proporciona un mecanismo alternativo para establecer y compartir las secuencias de clave que dependen de un proceso físico en donde cada parte no necesita generar una cantidad pseudoaleatoria debido a que se proporciona aleatoridad necesaria mediante la no-estacionalidad temporal y espacial del canal de comunicacion mismo. Usando un descodificador de canal, la probabilidad de dos usuarios que establezcan la misma clave secreta es esencialmente unitaria y la probabilidad de que un escuchador furtivo establezca la misma clave es esencialmente de cero. Asimismo, el numero de claves posibles es lo bastante grande que es impráctico el descubrimiento de aquella clave correcta mediante busqueda exhaustiva.
