Abstract

Los homopolímeros, copolímeros o mezclas de homopolímero/copolímero, y las sales metálicas de los mismos, de poliaspartato bajo en color, se producen mediante la hidrolisis oxidativa de homopolímeros, copolímeros o mezclas de homopolímero/copolímero, y sales metálicas de los mismos, de polisuccinimida, en la presencia de agentes oxidante que contienen oxígeno no cromogénico, libres de cloro, seleccionados. Los agentes oxidantes preferidos se seleccionan del grupo que consiste de peroxido de hidrogeno, percarbonato de sodio, percarbonato de potasio, tetrahidrato de perborato de sodio, monohidrato de perborato de sodio, periodato de sodio, periodato de potasio y ácidos peroxicarboxílicos. La ventaja del proceso reivindicado es que los poliaspartatos bajos en color pueden producirse sin la adicion de etapas de procesamiento adicionales más allá de la hidrolisis del precursor de polisuccinimida. Se obtienen poliaspartatos, bajos en color, solidos, al evaporar hasta la sequedad las soluciones de poliaspartato obtenida después de la hidrolisis oxidativa.
