Abstract

A pole plate produced with melting a metal for binding active materials, wherein a melting point of said metal is lower than that of said active materials, mixing the melted metal with the active materials to produce a pole plate pre-composition, and treating the pole plate pre-composition with cooling and forming to produce a pole plate sufficiently prevents active materials from breaking away and improves conductivity, which causes decrease of inner electric resistance, increase of life time and capacity of cells. The corrosion and expansion of the pole plate are note caused in the pole plate of the present invention, and the process for preparing the same can be easily performed with low production cost.
