Abstract
Se proporciona un filtro enfriador para uso en el filtrado de una solucion enfriadora la cual fluye a través de filtro enfriador y que incluye un montaje de alojamiento de filtro el cual está constituido de un alojamiento exterior el cual está corrugado en una placa de tuerca la cual define una salida de flujo roscada internamente, un elemento de filtro generalmente cilíndrico se coloca dentro del montaje de alojamiento de filtro y se une una primera placa de extremo al extremo del elemento de filtro la cual está adyacente a la placa de tuerca. Se proporciona un elemento de placa de extremo para union al extremo opuesto del elemento de filtro y está configurado de manera que define una cámara interior en la que se almacenan gránulos de aditivo de enfriador suplementarios. Se aplica una placa de cierre a través del extremo abierto de la cámara interior de manera que se genera una cámara cerrada para los gránulos de aditivo de enfriador suplementario. Se proporciona un mecanismo de liberacion lenta para controlar la velocidad de liberacion del aditivo de enfriador suplementario desde la cámara cerrada hacia la solucion enfriadora. En una modalidad de la presente invencion, el mecanismo de liberacion lenta incluye un tubo de difusion el cual define un orificio de difusion. En otra modalidad de la presente invencion, el mecanismo de liberacion lenta incluye una oblea o placa de membrana semipermeable (u osmotica). En ambos casos, el mecanismo de liberacion lenta se coloca entre la fuente de aditivo de enfriador suplementario y la salida de flujo en la placa de tuerca.
