Abstract

Un ensamble de sello elastomérico para uso con una taza de cojinete montada sobre un muñon de un miembro transversal de junta universal incluye un sello elastomérico unido a un anillo de soporte metálico. Un tercer reborde de sellado se acopla a la superficie de sellado cilíndrica de muñon y se mueve en forma oblicua en la misma direccion que el primer reborde de sellado de contaminante. El segundo reborde de sellado de contaminantes resiste el movimiento de los contaminantes hacia el primer reborde de sellado de contaminantes con lo que se prolonga la vida del sello y la junta universal.
