Abstract
Un artículo que presenta propiedades fluorescentes durables caracterizado por una matriz polimérica, un tinte, y un estabilizador de luz de amina impedida, donde la matriz polimérica está caracterizada por el policarbonato y el tinte está caracterizado por un tinte seleccionado esencialmente del grupo de compuestos consistentes de tioxantonas, imidas de perileno y/o tioindigoides. El artículo presenta fluorescencia durable la cual resiste la degradacion por radiacion ultravioleta o visible. La invencion es opcionalmente combinada con elementos retroreflectivos, de manera que el artículo resultante tiene propiedades fluorescentes durables cuando éste es expuesto a la luz del sol, y es también retroreflectivo. Un método para la fabricacion de un artículo que presenta propiedades fluorescentes durables, es también revelado de acuerdo con un método para incrementar la durabilidad del policarbonato en un sistema de tañido.
