Abstract

Esta invencion describe más específicamente una composicion de revestimiento reducible en agua que está constituida de (1) agua; (2) una resina que tiene unidades repetitivas que se derivan de (a) aproximadamente 30 a aproximadamente 75 por ciento en peso de monomeros aromáticos de vinilo, (b) aproximadamente 20 a aproximadamente 65 por ciento en peso de monomeros de acrilato de alquilo, (c) aproximadamente 1 a aproximadamente 8 por ciento en peso de monomeros de alquilo de ácido propenoíco, y (d) de aproximadamente 0.5 a aproximadamente 5 por ciento en peso de monomeros de acriloxialquenil-trialcoxisilano, basado en 100 por ciento de monomeros; (3) un agente humectante; y (4) un desespumador. El gamametacriloxipropiltrimetoxisilano es un ejemplo representativo de un monomero de acriloxialquenil-trialcoxisilano altamente preferido.
