Abstract
Un aparato para la liberacion de energía láser en un blanco a través de una guiaondas que transmite radiacion que tiene un extremo distal que termina en un extremo que está en contacto con el blanco durante la liberacion, aunque protegiendo el extremo del daño por calor, comprendiendo dicho aparato una guiaondas para la transmision de radiacion láser y teniendo un extremo distal que termina en un extremo adaptado para ponerse en contacto con el blanco para liberar energía láser directamente en el blanco en el sitio de contacto, y medios para la liberacion de una pequeña cantidad de líquido controlada en el blanco adyacente al extremo, siendo dicha pequeña cantidad justo la suficiente para limitar la temperatura en el blanco a una no superior a la temperatura de fallo del extremo. También se describen un montaje del aparato para la realizacion de ILC incorporando una guiaondas y un procedimiento para la proteccion del extremo de una guiaondas de daños.
