Abstract

La presente invencion se refiere a un aparato y método para actualizar una red de comunicaciones desde uno o más dispositivos de comunicaciones de usuario. La invencion emplea la programacion electronica u otras características basadas en tiempo dentro de un dispositivo de comunicaciones para controlar y/o iniciar transmision de informacion entre el dispositivo de comunicaciones y la red de comunicaciones. Informacion de uno o más dispositivos de comunicaciones se actualiza a la red de comunicaciones en respuesta a componentes basados en tiempo en los registros de informacion que corresponden a un dispositivo de sincronizacion asociado con el dispositivo de comunicaciones respectivo. También, una vez que la red ha recibido esta informacion actualizada, se inician comparaciones de entrada de informacion relacionadas para detectar discrepancias entre ellas. De esta manera, se compara informacion de localizacion geográfica y de tiempo suministrada por el usuario con informacion similar recuperada automáticamente por la red de comunicaciones utilizando tecnología de comunicaciones de red convencional y futura. Cualesquiera discrepancias detectadas se emplean para iniciar notificacion apropiada al usuario y/o recuperar informacion actualizada o pasar a un valor predefinido en sistemas de suministro de mensajes existentes.
