Abstract
La presente invencion se refiere a un procedimiento de multiplexion estadística para una pluralidad de corrientes de datos que compiten para acceso a un canal de comunicacion, caracterizado porque comprende los pasos de: a) poblar un cuadro estadístico en una memoria de un multiplexor estadístico en donde dicho cuadro estadístico tiene una entrada para cada unidad de datos que puede ser enviada sobre dicho canal de comunicacion en un periodo predeterminado en donde dicho paso de poblacion de cuadro estadístico comprende además: i) distribuir una entrada en dicho cuadro estático a una de dicha pluralidad de corrientes de datos; ii) almacenar un codigo predeterminado en dicha entrada si dicha entrada es distribuida a una corriente de datos que tiene un régimen variable; iii) almacenar un indicador en dicha entrada si dicha entrada es distribuida a la corriente de datos que tiene un régimen fijo en donde dicho indicador identifica la corriente de datos de régimen fijo; y iv) repetir los pasos i) a iii) para cada entrada en dicho cuadro estático; y b) usar cada entrada de cuadro en dicho cuadro estático en la seleccion de corriente de datos en dicha pluralidad de corrientes de datos que envía la siguiente unidad de datos al canal de comunicacion.
