Abstract

Se describe un método para (co)polimerizar radicalmente éster vinílico, halogenuro de vinilo, dieno, monomeros de acrilo nitrilo y alfa-olefina, opcionalmente con uno o más monomeros etilénicamente no saturados, con un iniciador de la polimerizacion en presencia de una cantidad de al menos un agente de transferencia en cadena consistente en peroxiácido efectivo para reducir el peso molecular del (co)polímero en comparacion con un (copolímero hecho por el mismo procedimiento sin agente de transferencia en cadena. También se describen (co)polímeros producidos por el método y el uso de peroxiácidos particulares como agentes de transferencia en cadena en la polimerizacion radical de uno o más monomeros etilénicamente no saturados, estos peroxiácidos dan una reduccion significante del peso molecular, y son utiles con una cavidad de diferentes iniciadores de la polimerizacion.
