Abstract
The present invention describes an electric shunt line connector mounting (50) with a couple of wedge connectors (22), an abutment (26), primary rod (27), and a shunt rod (28), a shunt connector (100) with rod arms (102), slots (105) and a receptacle section (106) to interconnect a primary electric cable (21) with a shunt cable (23). Mounting (23) can be created by using an electrician tools, even when cables are energized. This advantageously allows installation on areas wherein it is not practical to de-energize power cables.
