Abstract

Se dan a conocer dispositivos para amplificar un polinucleotido, preseleccionado, en una muestra, llevando a cabo una reaccion de amplificacion del polinucleotido. Los dispositivos están provistos con un substrato microfabricado, el cual incluye una cámara de reaccion de amplificacion de polinucleotidos, que tiene al menos una dimension en seccion transversal, de aproximadamente 0.1 a 1,000 æm. El dispositivo también incluye al menos una puerta, en comunicacion de fluido con la cámara de reaccion, para introducir una muestra a la cámara, para ventilar la cámara, cuando es necesario, y, opcionalmente, para remover los productos o materiales de desecho desde el dispositivo. Esta cámara de reaccion puede estar provista con los reactivos requeridos para la amplificacion de un polinucleotido preseleccionado.
