Abstract
The present invention provides a method of producing a fuel power product from biological sediments. A renewable, augmenting agent is mixed with sediments and the mixture is aerobically composted under effective conditions which substantially reduce the level of pathogen microorganisms and provide a fuel product having a caloric value of about 2,111 cal/g (3,800 Btu/bl) after the augmenting agent has been removed.
