Abstract

La invencion se relaciona con un método y aparato para la alimentacion de solidos y gas de reaccion a un horno de fundicion en suspension, aparato que comprende, cuando menos, conductos para recibir solidos y gas de reaccion y para conducirles además hacia un horno de fundicion en suspension, y aparato en el cual, cuando menos, la mayor parte del gas de reaccion es alimentado dentro del horno de fundicion en suspension a través de un canal de gas de reaccion que rodea el canal para la alimentacion de solidos. De conformidad con la invencion, en el canal del gas de reaccion (3) se encuentran instalados, esencialmente cerca de su extremo final sobre el costado del horno de fundicion en suspension, miembros de ajuste (8), por medio de los cuales el caudal del gas de reaccion alimentado dentro del horno de fundicion en suspension puede ser ajustado esencialmente en forma progresiva.
