Abstract
La presente invencion se refiere a una técnica de temporizacion para un modem de Muestreo del Nivel de Cuantificacion (QLS) que coloca la informacion de la temporizacion en una señal pulsada o pulsante, corriente abajo, transmitida desde la red telefonica conmutada publica (PSTN) en el modem de QLS. En respuesta a esta informacion de temporizacion, el modem de QLS se sincroniza con el reloj de muestreo de la red en la PSTN. En particular, la señal pulsada o pulsante incluye muestras que llevan los datos, las cuales fueron provistas por un modem de QLS del extremo alejado o remoto, y al menos una muestra que lleva los datos diferentes del usuario (NUDB), en la cual el nivel de esta muestra de NUDB se alterna periodicamente. El modem de QLS extrae la informacion de la temporizacion desde este nivel de la señal de alternamiento periodico para sincronizar el modem de QLS con el reloj de muestreo de la red.
