Abstract

La presente invencion se refiere aun producto resistente al calor preparado por reaccion de a) una mezcla de i) un poliisocianato orgánico, ii) un compuesto que contiene grupo epoxido, e iii), opcionalmente, un compuesto orgánico que contiene un grupo metileno activo y que contiene al menos un grupo captador de electrones adyacente al carbono del metileno, y b) al menos un polialcohol que está libre de grupos amina terciaria, llevándose a cabo la reaccion a una relacion de equivalentes de 2:1 a 5:1. La reaccion se lleva a cabo en presencia de un catalizador de isocianurato libre de amina terciaria seleccionado del grupo que consiste en oxidos, alcoxidos, hidroxidos y carboxilatos de metales alcalinos, alcalinotérreos, metales de transicion y amonio cuaternario.
