Abstract

Se describen composiciones oftálmicas que contienen derivados de tocoferilo de vitamina E que son comodos y no irritantes, y el nuevo uso de agentes oftálmicos junto con derivados de tocoferilo de vitamina E en la preparacion de composiciones para reducir significativamente la molestia e irritacion asociadas con la administracion oftálmica topica de los agentes oftálmicos solos; además, esos derivados de tocoferilo de vitamina E aumentan significativamente la solubilidad acuosa de ciertos agentes oftálmicos escasamente solubles.
