Abstract

Un ensamble de polea de carretilla (10) firmemente sellado para prevenir la pérdida de lubricante del mismo y la entrada de contaminantes. El ensamble (10) comprende un collar de bolas interno (12) dispuesto alrededor de un eje de rotación (14) y un collar de bolas externo (16) dispuesto en forma concéntrica en una relación separada alrededor del collar de bolas interno (12). Una pluralidad de baleros de bolas (18) están dispuesto entre el collar de bolas interno (12) y el collar de bolas externo (16). Un anillo de sello externo (20) se extiende radial e interiormente desde el collar de bolas externo (16) hacia el collar de bolas interno (12). Un anillo de sello (22) está dispuesto en forma girable alrededor del collar de bolas interno (12) extendiéndose radialmente hacia afuera, y contiguo al anillo de sello externo (20). Una rondana ondulada (24) dispuesta alrededor del collar de bolas interno (12) predispone al anillo de sello interno (22) a contacto friccional con el anillo de sello externo (20). Una pluralidad de anillos de respaldo de sello interno (26, 27) proporcionan un sello secundario alrededor del collar de bolas interno (12).
