Abstract

Se expone un sistema que mejora la cobertura en áreas de cobertura traslapantes entre dos sistemas de radio teléfono celular del tipo A o del tipo B, que es capaz de dirigir una unidad de abonado en el área de cobertura de traslapante hacia el sistema primario o inicial, disminuyendo al mínimo los gasto del tipo vagabundeo 'roaming' de la unidad de abonado. El sistema incluye un receptor de canal de control, una unidad control y un par de transmisores/receptores de canal de control, en combinación con una antena transmisora/receptora. El sistema transmite un canal de control, que está asociado con el sistema inicial, dentro de la región de traslapante. El canal control está destinado a ser el canal más fuerte en esa región. Cualquier unidad de abonado en la región asociada con el sistema inicial que responde al canal control se dirigirá a los otros canales de control asociados con el sistema original o inicial.
