Abstract

PURPOSE:To improve the rate of connection and of utility of equipment through the flexibility provided for the equipment of adjacent base stations. CONSTITUTION:Standard service areas 4-6 are a part of service area group constituting a system, and strength of electric field of transmitting waves from base stations 1-3 reaching a mobile station moving a moving path 11 is respectively 13-15. The base station 1 has radio channels of a1-a5, the base station has those of b1-b5 and the base station 3 has those of c1-c5, and the transmission power of each channel is the same at the standard time. A control station 12 detects always the rate of line utility of each base station, and when the rate of utility of lines of a certain base station, that is, traffic intensity, exceeds a set value and it is known that the lines of an adjacent base station has a mergin, the transmission power of the base station is controlled. That is, if a traffic intensity exceeding the design value is concentrated on the standard area and the adjacent area has a mergin, the transmission power of the base station 2 is reduced and the service area is reduced to 7.
