Abstract

Un método para alterar el fenotipo de un ave que comprende introducir una secuencia de DNA a células somáticas de un ave contenida dentro de un huevo durante la incubación in ovo. La secuencia de DNA se selecciona para ser efectiva para causar un cambio en el fenotipo, tal como un incremento en la velocidad de crecimiento, eficiencia de alimentación, o ambos en el ave después del empollamiento.
