Abstract

The invention relates to a packing apparatus and to a method for packaging containers in a packaging unit having a divider insert. In order for it to be possible for the packaging unit with divider insert to be oriented particularly reliably and straightforwardly in a predetermined position, an orienting element is provided in order to grip and orient the packaging unit, the orienting element having at least two gripping arms which are arranged diametrically around the longitudinal axis, are each mounted such that they can be pivoted about an axis of rotation between an open position and a gripping position and, in the gripping position, for orienting the packaging unit, act together on a divider-insert joint.
