Abstract
La invención mencionada anteriormente describe un proceso de eliminación de sulfuros de arsénico y/o antimonio de partículas de mineral que contenga cobre, níquel y/u oro. Las partículas de mineral se alimentan a un reactor, donde se inyecta un gas fluidizante al reactor para así conformar un lecho fluidizado que contenga al menos una fracción de las partículas de mineral. La temperatura de las partículas de mineral se aumenta en presencia de partículas inertes hasta un rango entre 500 y 850 °C, y se extraen del reactor. Al menos el 60 % por peso de las partículas inertes conforman una primera zona del lecho fluidizado, y al menos el 60 % por peso de las partículas de mineral conforman una segunda zona sobre la primera zona.
