Abstract
Una composición de aleación de aluminio que incluye, en porcentaje en peso: el 0,7-1,10 de manganeso; el 0,05-0,25 de hierro; el 0,21-0,30 de silicio; el 0,005-0,020 de níquel; el 0,10-0,20 de titanio; el 0,014 de cobre como máximo; y el 0,05 de zinc como máximo, y el resto son aluminio e impurezas inevitables. La aleación puede tolerar mayores contenidos de níquel que las aleaciones existentes, y a su vez proporcionar mayor resistencia a la corrosión, así como extrudabilidad, resistencia y rendimiento similares. Las barras de la aleación se pueden homogeneizar a 90-640 oC y someter a enfriamiento controlado a menos de 250 °C por hora. La barra homogeneizada se puede extruir en un producto, como un tubo para intercambiador de calor de aleación de aluminio.
