Se describe un recipiente (1) de material termoplástico obtenido mediante moldeo por soplado o moldeo por estirado-soplado, que comprende un cuerpo (2) y un fondo petaloide (5) que tiene un área central (7) de la cual patas (6) se extienden radialmente, alternantes con valles (10), cada pata (6) comprende una porción periférica (11) conectada al cuerpo (2) del recipiente y una porción central (12) conectada al área central (7), el recipiente es caracterizado en que cada pata tiene además una porción truncada (13) que forma un asiento para el recipiente (1), que se extiende entre la porción periférica (11) y la porción central (12).
